[edit] See more at www.photosculpt.net Hi, another high polygon count 3d model that was created using 2 stereo photos. The same camera was used for both shots. The 2 jpg image files were combined to compute the depth 3d model. This mathematical operation was done using a specific program that I created. This is quite fun to do, actually, as it's easy, full automatic and only takes a few seconds for low poly and less than a minute for an incredibly high poly 3d model ( 2 million triangle, up to maybe 10 million triangle). I actually never use the10 million triangle version directly, I prefer to use depth maps or normal maps, that are computationnaly less intensive. (does that makes sense?) Hoping you'll like it.
